Summary of Changes: This change corrects certain wage index values for FY 2003 under the DRG-based payment system, and adds CMS’ listing of hospital reclassifications and redesignations by individual hospital in Chapter 6, Addendum F. The footnote in this Addendum notes CMS’ corrections to the list since publication in the August 1, 2002 Federal Register. This change changes catchment areas to Prime Service areas and updates the illustration of perdiem rate calculations for an urban SNF and replaces Chapter 8, Addendum E to update the codes for the services that are excluded from SNF PPS rate. This change is published in conjunction with Aug 2002 TOM Change 5, Aug 2002 TPM Change 4, and Aug 2002 TSM Change 4.
