TRICARE Prime Remote (TPR) Program

All TRICARE requirements noted in Chapter 16 regarding TPR shall do not apply to the TMEP unless specifically changed, waived, or superseded by this section (as indicated below), the TRICARE Policy Manual (TPM), TRICARE Reimbursement Manual (TRM), TRICARE Systems Manual (TSM), or TMEP contract.
1.0  General
The provisions of TMEP contractor shall comply with the requirements in Chapter 16, Section 6, TRICARE Prime Remote for Active Duty Family Member (TPRADFM) Program apply to TMEP.
1.1  The TMEP contractor shall process TPR claims processing shall follow in accordance with TRM, Chapter 4, Section 4. The TMEP contractor shall perform customer service functions to the same extent as other TMEP beneficiaries.
1.2  The TMEP contractor shall comply with the requirements in Chapter 16, Section 6, paragraphs 12.0, 13.0, and 14.0, TRICARE Encounter Data (TED) submittal for the TPRADFM Program apply to TMEP.
1.3  The provision in Chapter 16, Section 6, paragraph 12.2 paragraphs 12.2 through 12.2.2 for the contractor to pay network providers at the negotiated rate does not apply to TMEP.
