All TRICARE requirements Chapter 12 regarding appeals and hearings shall apply to the TMEP unless specifically changed, waived, or superseded by this section, the TRICARE Policy Manual (TPM), TRICARE Reimbursement Manual (TRM), TRICARE Systems Manual (TSM), or TMEP contract.

Appeals of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preauthorizations follow concurrent review procedures.
