1.0 DESCRIPTION
The current edition of the Diagnostic
and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) indicates
that the essential feature of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
is a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity
that is more frequent and severe than is typically observed in individuals
at a comparable level of development.
2.0 POLICY
Otherwise allowable services
that are necessary to diagnose and treat attention deficit/hyperactivity
disorder may be cost-shared.
3.0 EXCLUSIONS
Services and supplies related
to general or special education.
